I look above me, to see the Moon as I talk to her.
(I find her to be a most sympathetic ear)
The cloud forms a ring around her. They say a ring around the Moon is an omen of danger to come, but this one cannot be.

Hands, balled into fists, lightly resting on the console.
Eyes, trained on the view screens, smartly alert, darting.
I bark out commands: quickly, crisply.
My charges go forth into the fray-
One placid.
One rabid
One unsure.
A graceful, deadly ballet.
I am the choreographer.
Here, I am the one in control.
...So many people expecting me to know what to do...
This is where I belong.
